Christmas in the Buechel Home

Even with how busy I was up until last Monday with school, I did a lot of decorating. Now that finals are over, I can enjoy the decorations.
These two framed pictures are a little project I made. I found some images of vintage Christmas cards online. I printed them, cut them out & added glitter to them.
The Eiffel Tower picture is a Christmas card from my cousin Jeannie, and we couldn't have Christmas with out the nativity in a cactus from Cancun.
This little alcove in the entry was fun to decorate this year. I took some yarn that I had saved from a birthday present from Megan to hang the snowflakes. The little package is actually a gift for me from my friend Sarah, the wrapping matched this spot perfectly. I would love to paint the inside of the alcove after Christmas, I just need to think of a color...suggestions?
I love the dining room this year! Everything is silver & white with feathers, trees & birds.
The china cabinet from Refreshed Decor really makes the room!

My friend Dani gave me this reclaimed wood bowl, it had been in her house.
I love it with the lights.
The sun shining on the living room tree.

The console table in the entry way.
The entry.
My favorite ornament at night. I am always glad Matt's parents saved it.
Our stockings at night.
I'm glad everyone can see our decorations even though we won't see all of the Minches for Christmas. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will get to see some decorations from the Minch, Baca & Johnson homes :)
