The Minches

Matt and I went to Cabo together the first time in 2006 to celebrate his 30th birthday.  We had a really great trip, it was our first vacation alone.  We hung out on the beach, I had Matt pose with Charla the Cabo dog for his birthday & even scouted wedding locations :)  The next time we went was in 2008, we again had a great time.  On that trip we bought Serena the mermaid (Our pool mascot), in hopes of someday having a house with a pool so we could hang her up.  We carried her on the plane.  I thought we were definitely going to get in trouble for trying to carry a big metal mermaid on a US Air flight but no one cared they just wanted to know what it was.  This was also the trip were I got to hold a baby lion!  In 2009 we went to Cabo again right after moving into the house.  We considered canceling, but decided to still go (Good advice Mom!)  We had a great time relaxing and hanging out together.  We celebrated the 4th of July in Cabo & it was the most fun I have ever had on the 4th!  Mexicans really love America.  This was also the trip that Matt and I first discussed me going back to school.  We are leaving Monday morning and are really looking forward to this trip.  With everything that has been going on, work for both of us, school, kitchen remodeling and an emergency trip to Salt Lake for me to support a dear friend; I am ready for a margarita on the beach and maybe we will find another mermaid to be friends with Serena!
