Steve Update
For all of you who do not know....Steve needs to have hip surgery and the Phillies decided to release him. His hip was in severe pain when he pitched, his velocity was down about 10 mph. His trainer thought it was just tight, but after an MRI they realized it was more than that and he will need surgery. He has a torn hip muscle (not sure which one), an impingement, and bone spurs. He will be getting surgery within the next 2 weeks and has about 3 months of rehab. Hopefully everything will go well.

Yuck! I'm sorry, that's terrible...hoping the surgery goes well and he'll be up and running for next season!!!
I just asked Brian yesterday what was up with the Green's and he told me that Steve has to have hip surgery. I am SO sorry to hear that. I love the Minches blog. Tiffany Tracy had a baby girl yesterday didn't know if you heard the great news.
