Easter in New Mexico with Flat Malia

Over Easter Matt and I were invited to Placitas, NM to visit Mom & Dad Yates. We were very excited for our first road trip and to take Flat Malia with us. Flat Malia is part of the Flat Stanley project, kids draw a flat version of themselves and mail it to a friend in another state. Then you take their flat character on an adventure. We took Malia to New Mexico. She visited this dinosaur on our way.
We got to Matt's mom & stepdad's house and were in aww of the view.
We had gone to Santa Fe for the day but it was snowing! So we drove to Los Alamos to visit the nuclear bomb museum. Guy is the best tour guide! Here is Flat Malia with a replica of Little Boy.
Matt, his mom and I after our delicious lunch at Tomaso's.
Matt and Flat Malia in front of a mural in Santa Fe. Thanks Mom & Dad Yates! We had a great time on our New Mexico adventure!
