His Grandma and Grandpa were anxiously waiting up for our arrival. They were so excited to meet Little Luca! (that's how they pronounce his name in french) Lucas had a great time with them. Grandma took him every morning so I could sleep in....What a gift!! She played with him, bathed him and sang to him everyday. He loved it when she sang to him. He would laugh and smile at her the whole time. I think he is her biggest fan :) You should have heard the way he would "talk" with his Grandpa. He would just babble away as loud as he could with a big grin on his face! And of course Lucas loved seeing his Daddy after being away for a couple of weeks.
Grandma and Grandpa took us to a Sugar Cabin in the woods. They tap the maple trees there and make maple syrup, candy, fudge, and anything else maple. We tasted the maple sap, looked at the animals, ate a traditional Quebec dinner and had maple toffee that we cooled on fresh snow!
