Hi everyone!
We had a FANTASTIC time in Italy. I am already ready to go back! I threw two coins in the Trevi Fountain which means I am going back (one coin is a wish and one coin to ensure we return to Rome). We went to Rome, Florence and Venice. I am going to do a post for each city...sorry for all the pictures, I have over 220 and picking out my favs is tough! The weather way too good to be true. It was about 60-65 each day. We were expecting rain and got sunshine every day.
Rome was amazing because of the sites. The Colloseum and the Vatican were breath taking. We also had some delicious pastries and dessert wines in Rome.

Inside the Vatican.

Pastry shop we stopped at for a pastry and wine :)

Ceiling inside the Vatican Museum. Absolutely beatiful. My neck was KILLING me after this hallway!

This is the front of St. Peter's at the Vatican. The big screen is for the people in the back of St. Marks Square to be able to see the Pope during his services.

We climbed A LOT of stairs to go to the highest point in Rome, the top of the Vatican. It was TOUGH but a beautiful view.

This is the view from the top of the Vatican to St. Marks square. I was so excited about this because this is the exact picture in my Rome guide book!!!

Inside St. Peters. Truly amazing. We were in here for over an hour just amazed by the beauty and meaning behind all of it. I have lots of pictures but this one kinda shows the entry way to show how ornate everything is.

Walking up to the Vatican!

Here we are at the Trevi Fountain. We had gelato on the benches right by this :).

Me in front of the Trevi Fountain

Walking up to the Colloseum...this picture really doesn't show how big it is!!!

This was the view of the Vatican from the Colloseum.

Inside the Roman Forum.

Here we are in the Colloseum. It is just massive!

This is the Arch Of Constatine. Constatine was the emperor who legalized Christianity.

Colloseum again. This shows the chambers under the floor (which has deteriorated). Here is where the slaves (Gladiators) and animals were kept.

Brandon in the Colloseum...he loved it. He was just blown away by its size. The arch ways were also amazing.

This is the Roman Forum. This was build more than 2000 years ago. We walked around this area for a long time :)
