Annual Football Trip - Austin, Texas

Four years ago, we decided to go visit a college or professional football stadium outside of Colorado each year. We have been to Lincoln Nebraska, College Station Texas, and Chicago. This year we decided to go to Austin Texas to see the Longhorns take on the Missouri Tigers.

Here we are right before the game outside of the stadium.

Brandon and Kristin before the game...HOOK EM HORNS!

We were so lucky because College Gameday was in Austin on Saturday. We went at 8:45am to see the guys in action. We got lots of free stuff!

Here is a picture of the 89,000 fans cheering on the Longhorns. It was SO loud and had great traditions. We learned all the cheers!

Here is the stadium and waterfall.

We have already booked our hotel room for next years stop...Blacksburg Virginia to see our Nebraska Cornhuskers take on the Virginia Tech Hookies!!!

We had so much fun in Austin!! It is a beautiful city with very warm and friendly people. Jessie told us about the restaurant Moonshine... we had an incredible brunch! We saw Kirk Herbstreet at Stubbs and he said Hi! to us! We actually found out that there were 98,000 fans at the the game! What an experience, we had a blast!
