Riding the Inclines in Pittsburgh

Before I left Pittsburgh today, Dani & her kids took me to ride the Incline. The 'Mon' as the locals call it, was how the steel workers in the 1800s got to work at the mills. We got on near Station Square and it dropped us off on Mount Washington on Shiloh Street.
This was taken from in the car, looking up at the station. The ride up is really steep!
At the top, the neighborhood was really quaint and fun. Local artists paint murals on the sides of some of the buildings. Dani's kids posed for me: Michael, Tyler, Malia and Savanna.

This is a view of the whole city from the top of Mount Washington. There are hundreds of bridges.

The trip was fun, I love seeing Dani. I was really excited to get home though, I missed Matt a lot! :)
